L’Oréal have a new opportunity for a Commercial Analyst, supporting the Grocery Channel across all aspects of internal and external reporting and analysis. Your mission will be to collect and consolidate EPOS and P&L data, leveraging our internal tools, and working closely with account manager stakeholders. You will identify reporting needs and implement a standardised and automated process that will tackle those needs, enabling regular reporting.


Maintain an agreed portfolio of reports across all brands / customers within the channel
Consolidate sales, forecasts and P&L data from our retail partners, online platforms and internal systems
Ensure data consistency & accuracy
Deliver management reporting for the channel which will need to be accurate, timely and actionable. This will include:
Weekly/Monthly Financial and Performance Reporting;
Data visualization tools and dashboards;
New Launch trackers etc.

Analyse data and provide key insight on business trends or areas of opportunity to drive business performance, including recommendations for promotion optimization.
Be responsible for Audit and Invoices for Grocery accounts; ensuring account debt targets are achieved, investigating any disputes.
Work closely with Account Managers and Business Planners to manage Weekly Turnover Tracking through close analysis of EPOS, stockholding, promotional phasing and financial adjustments.

Account Managers
Marketing & Category Teams
Commercial Finance teams

Senior Management including Managing Director


Educated to degree level or equivalent
Highly analytical and detail orientated
Experienced in BI and data management; able to deliver highly standardised and automated reporting

Personable with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Flexible, agile and open minded

Creative with an ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions


Experience in complex analysis of business performance in a commercial business environment

Demonstrable problem-solving ability

Excellent prioritisation skills; you’re able to meet tight deadlines, while achieving results
Excellent presentation skills; you’re able to deliver / cascade key messages to multiple peer groups and varying levels of seniority

Comfortable with numbers; fully proficient with Excel; knowledge of VBA beneficial
Experience in working with large database; knowledge of SQL beneficial

Competent in using a visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI
