The Professional Products Division (PPD) of L’Oreal UK is seeking a strategic, digital-native with a passion for the beauty industry.  We need a dynamic individual who can use their existing extensive digital expertise to be the driving force behind the division’s overriding digital strategy.  Working within the Market Development team, and working closely with the UK’s corporate digital team, you will take the lead in defining and executing the divisions overall strategy, including digital communication (B2B and D2C), CRM, e-commerce, and e-retail for PPD.  Managing a team of digital and e-commerce managers, you will also oversee each brands digital strategy and execution. 


• Work with the General Manager of Market Development to develop, execute, refine and measure the overall divisions and each brands digital strategy
• Manage a team of 6 digital managers plus interns  (dual reporting line to brand Marketing Managers)
• Full end to end responsibility for all digital activity, including SEO, SEM, social, CRM, e-commerce and e-retail
• Work with global  development teams, UK corporate digital team, and external agencies to deliver best in class digital platforms and assets
• Develop and implement the divisions  e-commerce and e-retail strategy
• Work alongside the PPD Communications Manager to build the ePR strategy
• Regular review of agreed digital KPI’s including ROI, e-commerce and e-retail conversion and sales,  suggesting improvements and seizing opportunities
• Manage the divisions digital budget, constantly monitoring financial targets to ensure plans are met
• Act as key consultant and digital expert in the division, to up skill teams, pro-actively share knowledge and expertise, be the source of information and inspiration on latest trends in the digital arena

6-8 years digital experience where you have built strong strategic skills  and have a proven ability to transform business objectives into a digital strategy that drives sales growth with clear ROI
•Experience of managing and developing a high performing digital team
•Extensive experience of selecting and working with agencies, consistently getting the best from them
•The ability to influence and gain buy-in effectively at all levels
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work independently ensuring that regular updates are provided to key stakeholders
•Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change
