Head of Retail Operations, L’Oreal Paris Makeup
The L'Oreal Paris Makeup team is seeking a dynamic, results driven Head of Retail Operations to lead on our key retail projects across the divisions, and to drive our Beauty Consultant business within Boots. We are looking for someone who will lead by example; with a genuine excitement and passion for cosmetics and the brand, with our customer in mind at all times. Your mission is to lead our Field Area Managers to deliver outstanding customer service, whilst developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with Boots and influence internally at a senior management level to ensure The L’Oreal Paris brand retail strategy is executed.
•You will be responsible for developing and delivering the retail strategy for L’Oreal Paris and gaining support internally to MD level and externally with key retailers
•Lead and manage a direct team of three Area Managers and one Team Assistant. Drive and manage through your team the beauty consultant business within Boots; circa 85 heads
•Own the People Development and Coaching of your Area Managers and develop them to achieve the best possible results
•Be the voice of retail operations for the brand, attending key meetings with senior stakeholders and sharing key insights and recommendations with data back up
•Drive the divisional merchandising project across 3 brands, sharing results and driving efficiencies from these insights
•Responsible for a multi million pound budget, driving efficiencies across the division to improve ROI and business results while maintaining brand image
•Involvement in driving the retail strategy across other retailers (AS Watson, JS & Tesco), ensuring we have an aligned approach with our retailers and a 12 month plan for retail execution. You will lead on the delivery and analysis on these results per retailer ensuring customer centricity and senior stakeholder management.
•Manage all CPD training requests and develop bespoke materials by retailer and support customer teams to deliver overall strategy
•Act as the key lead for all retailer retail requests and build strategies alongside commercial to deliver against all key KPIs.
•Key role in upskilling the wider division on retail and makeup excellence internally
