Retail Operations Executive

The primary purpose of this position is for a tenacious Retail Operations Executive to support the business across all Retail operational areas for our Retail free standing store estate.

Reporting directly into the Chief Retail Officer for UK & Ireland, the role should strive to support areas of property, facilities & maintenance, profit protection, systems, and communication for boutiques.  The role requires a driven candidate with the ability to multitask and deliver results.


YOU WILL:

Property

Along with Property Manager, support process and communication across free standing store real estate movements
Distribute monthly report for GM’s on status of retail estate portfolio and communication on changes, opportunities and risks
Support creation and adherence to store opening & closure schedules across all business units
Support Manager with communication to landlords where required in matters of EHS/Facilities & Maintenance

Facilities & Maintenance

Support with vendor relationships and provided services across facilities and maintenance within the Retail boutique estate for UK & Ireland
Track all operational expenditures within Facilities & Maintenance vendors
Support communication to brands as required on all Facilities & Maintenance needs
Manage all certifications required for boutiques within facilities, licenses and safety
Support reactive maintenance process across boutiques
Manage PPM schedules and communication with boutiques and service providers
Support in the creation training, policies & procedures and guidance for boutique stores to create efficiencies and processes across all facilities & maintenance remits

Environmental Health & Safety

Support vendor relationships across EHS including alarms, redcare, keyholding and systems impacting store & personal safety
Support communication and actions at a store level for any EHS Risk and FRA issues
Support Manager with accidents, incidents & occupational safety needs for retail stores
Partner with Manager to drive any corrective actions required for boutiques
Support required EHS policies & training to be delivered to Retail Boutique Beauty Advisors for L’Oréal UKI

Communication, Systems, Profit Protection & General

Support Communications Manager with any required communication on internal store platform – tasks, announcements & policies
Support in creating and maintaining a robust Retail Calendar for brands
Liaise with Systems Manager on critical rollouts to stores – training, communication & compliance
Exhibit knowledge of main systems in store & act as liaison for support needs
Support monthly Profit Protection dashboard creation for stores
Support stock take communication to stores and follow up with Profit Protection
as well as partner on any required policies & procedures to be created and implemented in store
Support OPEX budget requirements across all areas of operations to identify expenditures and possible savings to the business
Support any general operational projects/duties across business units

YOU HAVE:

Alongside experience in a similar role, you should ideally be confident in demonstrating:

Previous experience in Retail & Operations
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products   
Customer centric approach
Strong  project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communications
Property & Real Estate knowledge preferable
