L'Oréal’s Couture Fragrances comprises of a portfolio of 4 luxury fashion houses brands: Mugler, Prada Beauty, Valentino Beauty and Viktor&Rolf.  The Couture Fragrance cluster has grown significantly over the past few years, thanks to tactical acquisitions, successful product launches and strategic brand activations. It’s an exciting time for these fast-paced, ever-growing brand!

As Visual Merchandising Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to plan and execute consumer-centric product campaigns across a wide range of retailers – always innovating and accelerating the omni-channel consumer experience.
This role with report into the Brand Activation Manager and will have daily support from a Visual Merchandising Intern. At present, this role is a fixed term contract for 12 months. 

You will

Design and implement launch and permanent in-store activations grounded in shopper insights and retail data. In doing so, ensure that the brand’s guidelines are met and that online and offline customer experiences link seamlessly to (and benefit from) each other (e.g. QR codes, beauty tech)

End-to-end project management of brand projects from render creation, retailer negotiations, POS sign off, cost management, design build & execution with retailers whilst ensuring timely status updates with higher management

Define, rollout out & manage the permanent brand expression of the brand across retail instore merchandising 

Continually develop new PLV designs with local suppliers to enhance and add innovation to the customer journey

Attend & support the team with installations, ensuring a smooth implementation for launch

Ongoing stakeholder management with retailers wider brand teams, Retail Design, external suppliers, designers & production teams to ensure excellence in execution 

Contribute to management of the VM budget 

Forecast PLV book orders, with a clear rationale whilst ensuring budget & delivery timelines are respected

Place consumer, retailer and shopping insights at the heart of your work to improve our omni-channel experience, as well as proposing new initiatives to drive online /offline purchases

Undertake ROI analysis on all in-store activations and share learnings for future projects

Support with the delivery of monthly reports showcasing best-in-class retail activation across Couture brands retailers and competitors.

Additional adhoc administrative to support the wider Brand Activation function.

You have

Experience in Visual Merchandising with proven project management experience 

Creative thinker with a track record in providing solutions to business problems

Experience in omni-channel activations

Understands customer path & shopper experience’s rules. 

Experience in creating high quality, branded experience in retail landscape

Highly organised together with the ability to prioritise and adapt within a changing environment

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong commercial sensitivity ability with understanding of budget management 

Strong communication skills, with an articulate manner 

Great relationship building skills and the ability to network at all levels

The ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines

Energetic and enthusiastic with a team spirit

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
