Manager, Influencer Relations

Job Description:

  • Manage personal and ongoing relationships with multiple influencers & celebrity talent (maintaining an average of 25+ relationships between both the Dark and Lovely and Carol’s Daughter brands)
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Shopper Marketing other functions to develop Influencer content that reflects the equities of each brand and supports each function
  • Assist in the ideation, development, and execution of press, influencer meet-ups and brand events
  • Oversee and produce reports measuring ROI’s (return on influencer spend), EMV, and impact of influencers in correlation with follower growth and engagement. Tools used include Tribe Dynamics, Social Bakers and Netbase
  • Develop and help create social media content with bloggers and influencers that are aligned with the brand and business goals
    • Create the content calendars for influencers that support brand launches, brand priorities, fuels content for owned social platforms and overall awareness. The key metric to keep in mind when creating influencer calendars is social engagement. Will this content get great engagement? Does it push to a retailer? Do the comments seem interested in the product?
  • Negotiate terms and oversee execution of all MCB contracts for talent
  • Shipping products in the following capacities:
    • New influencer product seeding
    • Fulfilling giveaways
    • Replenishing product for influencers for sharing on social media)
  • Must have an eye for social and lifestyle trends impacting AA women
  • Key KPI’s – EMV, Social Following, Social Engagement
  • Research and identify key beauty influencers and bloggers on YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook
  • Analyze customer demographic and cultivate relationships with influencers and bloggers that have similar audience profiles
  • Manage and improve affiliate program for influencers and bloggers based on insights, competitive analysis and community feedback
  • Monitor community dialogue and feedback and make recommendations for action

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years working in social media with influencers
  • Knowledge and experience in the beauty market, especially in social media and Public Relations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all social platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and Facebook)
  • Must be creative and very passionate about the beauty industry
  • Should be self-motivated and demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, taking the lead on projects and anticipating the needs of the team
  • Excellent consulting, reporting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to strategize, plan, and execute marketing plans with PR Director
