What You Will Learn:

The Manager –  Operations PD reports to the AVP, Physical Distribution and is responsible for the daily operations for all the LDB multiple outsourced facilities to ensure customer orders are properly fulfilled in terms of quantity, quality, and time at all Distribution Centers.  

  • Responsible for managing the activities of all 3PLs (SalonCentric / AmeriPac) and internal DCs from other divisions (Cranbury / San Bernardino / Dallas / Walton)
  • Ensures the external DCs are meeting the L’Oréal Performance Management expectations:
  • Hold the external DCs accountable to established KPIs
  • Reviews the external DCs’ KPIs 
  • Identifies gaps/ensures the external DCs has established appropriate action plans
  • Responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing the project(s) assigned such as expansion to CeraVe and other brands in other facilities, addition of co-packing facilities, IT implementations, acquisitions, among other projects.
  • Develop processing plans to ensure service for all business channels
  • Communicate plans to operations for execution.  Track performance to plan at various points in time
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams concerning production updates
  • Review and execute projects with the Transportation team to provide savings or service improvements 
  • Review and execute projects with the MFG team to provide savings or service improvements 
  • Coordinate the Physical Inventory counts across all DCs and communicate with Sales, Finance and Customer Relationship teams
  • Supervise the shipments across all DCs and communicate Sales Goals within the Supply Chain teams and present results and expectations to the Sales and Finance team

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Intermediate to advanced data analytic skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Access beneficial.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence functional groups.
  • Ability to engage in healthy conflict, effectively problem solve within a team environment, and demonstrate resiliency.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet commitments.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Demonstrates commitment to internal and external customer service.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SAP preferred.
