Key responsibilities:
·Manages and orchestrates the end-to-end product development process by collaborating with all departments involved to ensure operational excellence, both for new products and changes to existing products:
•Creates unique and incremental color concepts, based on color & trend forecasting
•Partners with Marketing on strategy and concept Ideation
•Identifies formula and shade prototypes and manages briefs to R&I and Vendors
•Manages Formula Evaluation & Stability: track and evaluate all internal and external formula submissions, providing assessment and redirection where needed
•Manages Shade Evaluation: provides redirection to R&I/or third party vendors to meet approved concept objective and timeline
•Manages with Development and relevant stakeholders industrial feasibility of a product and gains alignment with Global Product Innovation
•Works with International Business Development to ensure global and market specific product/shade needs are being met
•Partners with R&I and Vendors on final lab, scale-up, pilot and production standards
•Translates R&I platform technologies into consumer relevant ideas/benefits/RTB
•Manage formula cost to meet set objectives and provides formula information to Global Product Innovation teams
•Manages package compatibility testing
•Attends all key trade shows (CosmoProf, MUNY, In Cosmetics, etc) for emerging innovations to identify breakthrough product, package or trend opportunity for 2 year Panier
·Product Maintenance:
∙Oversees necessary reformulations and shade translations, due to regulatory updates
∙Partner with IBD on market specific planogram needs
·Analysis:
•Leads comprehensive analysis on both category and segments to determine overall product & shade trends and white space opportunities
•Collects consumer, market insights and findings from the market, zone, countries and Global Brand Experience to ensure the consistency of new product development with the country’s needs for both formula and shade development
· Manages new formula testing:
∙Oversees Tech Ctr Testing/Consumer Panel and key findings
•Partner with key cross-functional teams (R&I, Claims & Legal) on desired formula claims
∙Partners with R&I and Claims group on BPT and CPT testing
∙Selects test shades and provides rationale

Salary Range: $98,200-$137,500 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
