What You Will Do:

Drive retail sales for assigned Retailer.Com accounts through media, sampling and promotions. Be the key point person for Retailer.Com Merchants and establish a relationship with the Retailers to negotiate maximum exposure for Kiehl’s. Act as Subject Matter Expert internally on all things retailer.com related. Analyze retail sales and make optimizations throughout the year to achieve full year budget. Track what competitors are doing monthly in the digital space and recap for sales & marketing teams. Works closely with cross functional partners to ensure content and copy is delivered on time to retail partners. Become an expert on Retailer.Com sites. Learn and understand site capabilities, merchandising strategies, exposure options, media & promotional levers. Continuously seek to further digital knowledge. Seek LUSA and Luxe trainings as well as external opportunities to bring knowledge to the team.

Job Duties and Accountabilities

Drive Retail Sales on R.Com à 50%

  • Analyze .Com sales and performance to develop strategic insights and action plans
  • Review weekly/ monthly/ yearly performance with team
  • Collaborate with AVP & Planner on budget/ trend forecasting
  • Work with the dotcom merchant team to improve site merchandising, ensuring the best presentation on PDPs
  • Audit all PDPs on a continuous basis for correct copy, images, inventory
  • Negotiate Kiehl’s exposure on site and in retailer’s channels for launches, exclusives, and pillar franchises for increased Share of Voice (E-mail, Social, Home Page, BLP, etc.)
  • Optimize PDPs with best presentation of copy and assets
  • Consistently check in with merchant teams for opportunities to test new levers
  • Maintain RPA with all digital sampling, promo & media activations

Digital Media & Exposure à 20%

  • Plan and Negotiate Digital Coop strategy in partnership with AVP for assigned accounts
  • Lead weekly Digital execution meeting to manage cross functional partnership in execution of all media initiatives, ensuring all teams are in the loop every step of the way. Review Media Strategy (channels, targeting, etc.) and Content
  • Work closely with Consumer Activation & marketing team and retailer to align on retailer approved content, leading co-creation where expected
  • Collaborate with Brand Engagement team on organic social and influencer affiliate opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal and retailer media team on best practices and calibrate as needed
  • Analyze results of past campaigns and incorporate learnings into future
  • Manage timeline to ensure assets are delivered on time
  • Provide weekly updates on campaign performance and provide full recap upon completion of campaign

Own Retailer.Com Sampling à 15%

  • Propose sampling strategy in alignment with account needs/asks
  • Collaborate & align with AVP and marketing partners on sampling strategy
  • Ensure sample forecast is passed and aligned on with marketing and within budget
  • Work with merchant teams to program samples and provide assets or comps when necessary
  • Propose optimizations and work with merchant teams to reprogram and make changes as necessary
  • Ensure sampling programs are shipped and arrive on time for planned events

Exposure Tracker & Competitive Tracking à 10%

  • Weekly track all Kiehl’s digital exposure (organic & paid, social, e-mail, site, app placement, etc.)
  • Track competitive brands’ exposure and placements they are getting and promotions they are running
  • Provide live updates to leadership of all Kiehl’s exposure for assigned accounts

Miscellaneous à 5%

  • Collaborate with Center of Excellent (COE) and Digital Accelerator for accounts
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Luxe for best practices

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel to retailer buying offices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail and customer service orientation, results-driven and creativity in problem-solving
  • Excellent business acumen and commercial/analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Highly resourceful and flexible
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make effective decisions
  • Must demonstrate a good understanding of digital commerce and media in the beauty industry and retail in general
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, marketing or digital
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; proficient and comfortable with technology
  • Must be able to remain stationary or sit for the majority of a scheduled day
  • Able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment throughout the day

         Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
