What are key highlights of this role?


Reporting into the Retail Sales Director, Decleor and Carita you will be responsible for driving the Sell In forecasting and execution to our retail partners in line with monthly growth targets. You will work in partnership with the Retail Sales Director and the Retail Business Managers to achieve the brand’s Sell In strategy and deliver Sell Out.

As National Account Executive to the Retail Sales Director you will be exposed to some of the key retail partners in the Beauty Industry and will have the opportunity to grow your commercial expertise through managing key business relationships. Working across departments, you will build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and our external retail partners such as John Lewis Partnership and House of Fraser. You will also act as the key liaison for Decleor retail between functions including marketing, finance and commercial.


What are the key accountabilities of this role?


  • Develop and manage key business relationships on a day-to-day basis with Merchandisers/ Buyers/ SCM to ensure a seamless commercial relationship
  • Maximise new opportunities in Department stores including working with the digital manager to deliver robust plans for the online channels in all retailers
  • Detailed analysis on business performance to drive the sell in and sell out.
  • Full evaluation category, promotional and product launches sales with end to end plan of how to drive maximum sell in/ out.
  • Planning and co-ordination of BT seminar agenda and content with the Retail director
  • Coordinating and attending strategy review meetings with external retail partners to preview and present products
  • Overseeing sales and marketing guidelines and ensuring delivery
  • Maintaining a close proximity to our stores and using your own insights from the stores and the market to drive innovation and retail strategy
  • Working with the Regional Managers on their field requests to plan allocation of stock to drive launches and events

What skills are required?


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer service and prioritization skills
  • Analytical expertise and previous commercial experience
  • Previous retail experience is not required however a passion for beauty and skincare is essential  
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Powerplay, Word etc)
