Reporting to the eCommerce Director, part of the Commercial Operations team, the Online Business Analyst will support our ambitious commercial goals, as we continue to invest in our eCommerce capability to develop a clearer understanding of our customers and performance in the UK and Ireland. Your mission will be to use data to drive us forward to help achieve those goals.



What are key highlights of this role?


In this new role, as part of the eCommerce Team, you will support Commercial Operations with a wide variety of analysis, evaluation and optimisation.


You will set the agenda when it comes to eCommerce insight while working closely with National Account Managers and Marketing across our brands and customers like Amazon, Tesco, Boots and Ocado.


  • Provide reporting, analysis and insight on L’Oréal UK & Ireland’s eCommerce performance.
  • Partnering with the Consumer Marketing Insight function to ensure our data encompasses and reflects our eCommerce strategy
  • Create dashboards to track our performance and benchmark execution
  • Utilise all data sources including sales, online merchandising, analytics and social
  • Work with National Account Managers and Online Brand Managers to ensure they are empowered by knowledge and insight.
  • Lead the development of our eCommerce reporting capability.
  • Lead analysis and evaluation of eCommerce campaigns across all our customer accounts. As well as our eCommerce optimisation and testing activity
  • Distil complex research or analysis into simple and compelling recommendations for management.
  • Deliver actionable insights to enable improvements to the consumer experience.

 


Preferred qualifications/experience:



The successful individual will have experience in web analytics and working with high volume of data from multiple sources. You should be confident demonstrating the following:


  • Professional experience working within Digital analytics
  • Competent in understanding and applying customer data, analytics and market research to business objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Highly competent user of Web Analytics, ideally Google Analytics Premium
  • Experience designing dashboards with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience working on data automation through API connections and Google Sheets connectors.
  • High level of data manipulation and experience in establishing on-going reporting for all digital channels including Website, Search, Social
  • Numbers focused, able to work with large sets and volumes of data and strong problem solving skills
  • Experienced data-miner and problem-solver with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven organizational and IT skills, together with the ability to prioritize and adapt within a changing environment
  • Experience In A/B testing, Multi-Variety analysis would be a plus
  • Ability to engage and coach multiple stakeholders
