What You Will Learn:

  • Work with external suppliers and internal teams (Divisional Operation, Marketing and Technical Packaging teams) to procure packaging materials and ensure finish goods material arrive to the production site on time. Analyze forecast trends to account for high/low demand to prevent "out of stock" conditions. Collaborate with assembly Planning/Execution to develop projected line shift requirement, both internal and external, to meet customer's expected delivery dates.


What We Are Looking For:

Job Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS degree 
  • 1-3 years Purchasing and/or Planning experience. 
  • Independent thinker with strong decision-making skills. 
  • Good attention to detail, strong mathematical and analytical skills 
  • Microsoft Office experience with emphasis on Excel 

Tasks, duties and responsibilities:

  • Participate in weekly conference calls with Divisional Operation Assembly, Execution/Planning, Technical Packaging and Marketing and Development teams.
  • Use Wrike planning tool to track status of internal/external programs from inception to execution.
  • Use different platform applications to manage programs:
  1. Use DPM system to manage and track programs.
  2. Creating POs in My Market system 
  3. Use SAP to setup component codes. 
  4. Publish completed display outlines to create Build of Material (BOM)
  • Obtain quotes from packaging material suppliers.
  • Obtain quotes from copacker vendors.
  • Work with the Assembly Planning and packaging material supplier to ensure on time arrival of all componentry.
  • Work with the Assembly Execution team to schedule jobs according to customer's expected delivery date.
  • Perform weekly Book-to-book inventory discrepancy reports and work with copacker and internal systems to manage discrepancies.
