Post Marketing Surveillance & Notification Manager

Executive Summary

The Post Marketing Surveillance & Notification Manager role works closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, Scientific Advisors and Customer Care Team.  In this role you will focus on the Cosmetovigilance and Notification projects for UK & ROI.

You will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to ensure that all health-related cases are processed efficiently and that technical questions from consumers are answered appropriately.  You will also be the single point of contact to the business to ensure all cosmetic products are notified according the regulations. 

Based in Hammersmith, the role demands a high level of analytical and interpersonal skills along with excellent organisation. You will be required to work both on your own and as part of a team.

Post Marketing Surveillance

·         Working with the CMO to process health-related cases received by the Customer Care Team (CC), including managing patch-test requests when needed

·         Work with the CMO to process cases quickly and report serious cases within 24hrs of receiving to the Competent Authorities

·         Work with the CMO to deliver training to the CC and call-centre team

·         Provide responses to technical questions coming for consumers

UK and ROI Project manager for Notification

·         Ensure the department is compliant with local regulations (e.g. Product notification)

·         Develop processes, procedures, and documents to support the marketing and logistics teams

·         Liaise with the Zone to share best working practices for initiatives such as training, local processes and results

The network you would work with

·         Reports to the Chief Medical Officer. Peers within Scientific Zone, Head of Consumer Care, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Legal

Qualifications required

·         Educated to degree level

·         Strong project management in consumer service industry or in an agency

·         Ideally some regulatory experience and experience in post marketing surveillance

Essential skills required

·         Must be an excellent communicator; confident, persuasive individual who is at ease with all stakeholders and able to develop and maintain effective working relationships across multiple business teams.  Fluent in English

·         Strong orientation to consumer advocacy and high level of judgement and diplomacy

·         Analytical approach and consistent attention to detail

·         Great team player with positive and enthusiastic approach
