Provides technical support to the Units of Production, Outside vendors and Quality Laboratories as it relates to meeting Quality System and regulatory requirements. 

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in a Science or Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience in Manufacturing with strong emphasis in quality.

 Experience:

  • Experience with compliance to FDA and ISO guidelines including SOPs, auditing, and documentation requirements is highly desirable.
  • Experience in statistical sampling and conducting tests on packaging components, bulk and finished goods.
  • Color matching experience preferred. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Actively participates and leads quality improvement and optimization projects, including providing training to employees across departments (on Quality Systems Principles, Procedures and Methods).
  1. Assists in leading the investigation and resolution of quality related problems and incidents through Root Cause Analysis and determination of solid corrective actions.
  1. Conducts Quality System and SCOOP audits with diligence, ensuring that concerns are pointed out and collaborate with UP on how to correct/make changes.
  1. Sample, test and inspects finished good production lots, packaging component receipts, bulk batches and in accordance with the L’Oreal DGO test methods and specifications.  Record test results in issue NCMRs as appropriate.
  1. Participate in TPM initiatives.
  1. Conduct quality system audits at outside suppliers.
  1. Write SMI books for new launches.
  1. Conduct activities that support bulk processing productivity and improvement project.
  1. Assist with troubleshooting related problems in both processing and packaging.
  1. Observe “Good Manufacturing Practices” (G.M.P.).
  1. Support and effective, professional and communicative work environment with outside vendors, processing and other departments in the plant.
  1. Maintain all data, records and reports.
  1. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and implement L’Oreal safety and environmental programs.
  1. Perform other duties as necessary or required.
