Responsible for retail and education activation in POS so as to work hand in hand with commercial managers for an end goal  of achieving target net sales, retail sales & ranking in country. This role is UK based but with around 60 outside of UK travel. The successful candidate must have a valid passport and no restrictions for travel within EMEAI.

  • Train & coach BAs in developing their artistry skills, be the best ambassadors for the Urban Decay and achieving their sales objectives. 
  • Train Generic Staff & promoters when needed. 
  • Manage and accompany the development of the Europe Makeup expert. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of retail activation including on counter animations. 
  • Ensure resources allocated are maximised & budget respected. 
  • Be the brand ambassador and animate retailer and blogger events.
  • Manage with passion and empathy

 

Key Responsibilities

SALES & IMAGE

  • Work with commercial managers to:
  • Construct and monitor monthly sales targets
  • Analyze the sales performance and activate opportunities
  • Enforce retailer & shop staff relationships
  • Maintain counter quality/brand image & merchandising
  • Maintain Budget

MANAGEMENT

  • Support commercial managers in recruitment &  integration of BAs
  • Train /motivate /evaluate &  coach teams – Elevate artistry level & develop sales skills
  • Manage and develop UD MKUP EXPERT for Europe

TRAINING

  • Develop education material as per international brand guidelines
  • Plan &  execute education programs
  • Train on specific programs & retail tools when needed
  • Report on BA’s feedbacks & development needs


BRAND AMBASSADOR  

  • Be the best representative of the brand at all times
  • Collaborate and motivate commercial managers
  • Animate retailer and blogger event
Technical and professional competences required

  • Ability to manage complex matrix of retail stores in a wide geographic scope
  • Hands on experience in retail operation
  • Training and people development with an ability to drive a culturally diverse group
  • Communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Excellent makeup artistry skills
  • Analytical mindset and understanding of sales KPIs
  • Highly resourceful, flexible and ability to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to collaborate with and motivate various business partners effectively
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make effective decisions
  • Thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape and translates findings to positively impact business
  • Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
