For our L’Oréal Luxury division we are looking for a Retail Educator who will be responsible for Lancôme, one of our L’Oréal Luxury Brands. At Luxury, our mission is to provide our consumers with the best products and brand experiences by making it unique. Our portfolio is composed of 26 brands of which 17 are global brands, including major brands, highly aspirational and multi-expert, such as Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent and Giorgio Armani.


Who am I?

As part of the Retail Services team, you play a vital role in creating meaningful brand engagement and fostering brand loyalty, ultimately boosting sell-out. You will achieve this by developing highly skilled beauty advisors through modern training methodologies integrating beauty tech and digital tools. Your focus will be on enhancing their product knowledge (skincare, makeup, fragrance), selling skills, customer service, and skin expertise to deliver a consistently luxurious Lancôme brand experience. This will shape positive customer perceptions and ensure beauty advisors effectively represent Lancôme's values.

As a Retail Educator, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, working closely with the Brand Education Lead, other Retail Educators and the Retail Services Coordinator. You'll also enjoy strong partnerships with the Retail and Marketing team.


KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Training & Development

  • Deliver engaging and effective training programs to diverse BA populations covering brand history, values, product knowledge (skincare, makeup, fragrance), service excellence, category expertise and best sellers
  • Develop and deliver innovative training formats, including evening sessions, beauty tech integration workshops, and interactive online modules, catering to various learning styles.
  • Create impactful "train-the-trainer" content for Retail Managers, empowering them to onboard and develop their teams effectively
  • Conduct regular visits and training sessions at top doors, focusing on developing BAs' technical skills, product knowledge, and building strong relationships with in-store teams.
  • Develop and deliver tailored service concepts for beauty salons and podiums, enhancing the customer experience and promoting brand differentiation.
  • Develop and deliver specialized Masterclasses focusing on advanced techniques, new product launches, or specific skill development (e.g., makeup artistry, skincare consultations)
  • Monitor social media trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for enhancing Lancôme's social media presence.
  • Train Beauty Advisors on leveraging current social media trends and creating engaging social media content related to Lancôme products and services.


Brand Engagement & Events

  • Implement the brand's Beauty Advisor (BA) engagement plan in line with the Retail Services strategy, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximizing BA motivation.
  • Lead and facilitate engaging retailer events to drive brand awareness, product knowledge, and sales performance.
  • Support brand and luxury roadshows and events, providing expert product demonstrations, consultations, and brand representation

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Expertise on the BRAND: masters brand identity and knows value proposition
  • Deep knowledge of the brand’s products and services and knows how to present and transmit this to different populations.
  • Prior experience as a Beauty Advisor, bringing practical insights to training and development.
  • A deep understanding of customer profiles and transmits customer centricity.
  • Excels in collaboration, coaching, and sales conversion techniques, enabling the development and implementation of highly effective BA engagement and education plans.
  • Is digitally savvy in terms of online education, social media & social influencing and using digital (reporting) tools
  • Experience with internal and external stakeholder management
  • Fluency in both French and Dutch allows for the delivery of training programs in either language
