A Day in the Life

Reporting directly to the PPD Chief Digital Officer for SAPMENA, you will define the e-commerce strategy across a complex and diverse region. You'll balance direct and indirect channels, steering the digital transformation for our professional brands.

• Strategic Vision: Fortify our core e-commerce foundations and deploy scalable roadmaps to unlock underleveraged growth opportunities across SAPMENA, driving sustainable, profit-accretive acceleration.
• Ecosystem & Channel Mastery: Orchestrate growth across a diverse e-commerce landscape. Scale our footprint on global giants like Amazon, partner with robust generalist marketplaces and beauty specialists, capture  beauty consumer journeys, and capture high-growth potential within the emerging quick-commerce and social commerce ecosystem .Guide countries on optimizing trade terms, transactional media investment, promo frame, activation and the digital shelf across all touchpoints.
• Regional Enablement & Scaling Success: Act as a central strategic catalyst for country teams. Equip local markets with advanced playbooks, strategic frameworks, and best practices. identifying winning activations and multiplying their success horizontally across the zone without managing daily local executions.
• Data-Driven Performance & Advanced Analytics: Drive the adoption of sophisticated analytics and marketing tools. Guide local teams in mastering key performance drivers (PDP, traffic, Promo, conversion) and leveraging capabilities like Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) for precise consumer acquisition.
• Transversal Leadership: Align cross-functional stakeholders, from supply chain to marketing and digital media teams, ensuring seamless operational orchestration and rigorous delivery on tight go-to-market deadlines.

The SAPMENA region is vast, and the pace can be demanding. You will face competing priorities and shifting landscapes. Success here requires an entrepreneurial mindset to test, adapt quickly, and deliver results—with full team support.

• Data Driven Decision Making: Using data insights and analytical tools to make informed, strategic choices.
• Stakeholder Management: Identifying, assessing, and uniting diverse stakeholders around a common vision across the zone.
• Agile Methodologies: Adopting adaptive planning and continuous improvement to navigate fast-paced digital environments.
