Work along with the statistical manager to develop statistical analysis plans and determine appropriate statistical methodology for data analysis as part of the study protocol

Work on a variety of projects in the domain of skin care and make-up. Independently apply and implement basic and complex techniques to these analyses. 

You have understanding of Design of Experiment (DOE). You will be involved in establishing methodologies for  data in chemical and clinical domain for US R&I via training, workshops, and best practices

Ensure quality collection and data relevance

Compute screening, quantitative studies, optimization and mixture models

Contribute to making decisions in new combinations of formulations or on data driven decisions coming from direct point of sale for improvement in skin care and makeup

Deeply understand US digital ecosystem, build up external network and introduce relevant technology to accelerate innovation

Collaborate with the statistical programming outside vendors to ensure all programs meet analysis requirements, internal standard operating procedures, and external regulatory requirements when its necessary

Transfer and adapt to local needs algorithms and tools developed by worldwide scientific computing teams

Participate in L’Oréal Research worldwide activities for innovative methods and applications in the field of clinical assessment, imaging, omics and consumer feedback data


Masters or PhD or relevant work experience in Statistics, Design of Experiments, Chemo-informatics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. It would be a plus if you have a chemistry or biological background


Hands on experience with R and/or Python and related machine learning library

Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills, ability to tackle hard problems and produce step-wise solutions

Good listening, oral and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with personnel with different functional background. Demonstrate strong interest in statistical research activities and in application of novel methods to clinical trial innovative projects

Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work effectively in unstructured environments
