For L'Oreal, beauty is above all a scientific adventure

This conviction is reflected in the central role of its Research & Innovation (R&I), which deploys its teams around the world to imagine and create the products of tomorrow. The Research and Innovation teams, whose number has increased eight-fold in 20 years, constantly strive to be at the forefront of scientific advances, working in collaboration with the world's leading experts in each field.  The results of their work are subject each year to several hundred patent applications and give rise to thousands of formulas. Research and Innovation is today more than 3,800 researchers in thirty disciplines, from basic to applied research, through product development.

What we’ll do together…

As the Senior Scientist, Biostatistics you will work along with the Statistical Manager to develop statistical analysis plans and determine appropriate statistical methodology for data analysis as part of the study protocol. You’ll participate in blind review meetings to ensure the data evaluated are in high quality and satisfy analysis requirements in alignment with the study protocol for studies in the field of skin care, hair care and make-up for all brands, with a focus on exploring and evaluating the landscape of data, tools and statistical modeling techniques.

What your day will look like…

Collaborate with the statistical programming outside vendors to ensure all programs meet analysis requirements, internal standard operating procedures, and external regulatory requirements when it’s necessary.

Analyze data and interpret results from clinical trials to meet objectives of the study protocol. Independently apply and implement basic and complex techniques to these analyses.

Generate internal reports to effectively communicate results of clinical trials to the project team, management, regulatory agencies, or internal individual investigators. Provide responses to queries related to study design, analysis, and interpretation posed by the clinical monitors, regulatory agencies, and/or investigators.

Participate in L’Oreal Research worldwide activities for innovative methods and applications in the field of clinical trials, biostatistics.
