What You Will Do: 

This role spans ownership of platforms, services & data strategy reporting to the AVP, Consumer Activation Lead across the Carol’s Daughter and SoftSheen Carson brand. The core function of this role is to strategize and build best-in-class digital experiences for consumers. This role is accountable for leading and executing holistic and consumer centric programs as well as performance channels Paid Search and SEO best practices. The success metrics will be driving qualified traffic and experiences, loyalizing existing users, and enhancing & building ‘services’ on-site. This individual will be instrumental in developing the brands digital roadmap to meet the needs of our consumer including personalization and bringing innovation to the brands, as well as valorizing our brand and building equity on sites.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop data strategies cross-functionally with consumer journeys, and ability to map clear plans for rich data capture, and personalization experiences to meet consumer needs.
  • Lead & manage transition to new platform, as well as service upgrades, a key priority in 2024.
  • Manage development agencies with strong ability to manage timelines and fluency in communicating with technical leads.
  • Lead initiatives to improve performance metrics including site speed, navigation, and clear paths to purchase.
  • Partnership with cross-functional teams and SEO agency, track and optimize on-going.
  • Oversee innovation and new concept development, strategy, planning, testing, and implementation of all platform initiatives.
  • Lead analytics and make decisions through use of comprehensive web metrics
  • Effectively manage day-to-day digital partner and vendor relationships
  • Management of budget for all aforementioned projects as well as budget planning for subsequent years
  • Demonstrates leadership and able to influence cross functionality to upskill other teams on importance of digital, platforms and data learnings.

 Education/ Experience/ Licenses or Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Advanced Degree desired) and 8+ years of eCommerce and digital marketing experience within the beauty, CPG, or relevant luxury industry.
  • Hands-on experience with digital brand marketing, consumer-direct marketing and social media marketing.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and application – branding, content development, CRM, analytics, SEM and SEO.
  • Demonstrated experience for UX best practices, consumer journeys, user flow and content management


SOFTWARE:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and web-based applications.
  • Must have experience SalesForce Commerce Cloud, (formerly Demandware) and SiteCore.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS languages a plus
  • Must be proficient in Google Analytics and other reporting systems


Additional Benefits Information As Follows: 

Salary Range: $117,000-$164,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
