Job Summary:  Depending on the business needs of the Supply Chain teams, you identify and analyze options for improving or developing IT applications and contribute to the maintenance of applications. As an SAP WM Analyst, you are responsible for deploying or upgrading SAP solutions. You will participate in many stages of development such as business analysis, requirements definitions, solution design, testing, and training.  In addition, you will support the internal customer base with trouble shooting and problem resolution.   

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve in primary role as business analyst / solution engineer for SAP Warehouse Management module (SAP WM)
  • Act as business process advisor to business users in the areas of Receiving, Putaway, Inventory Management, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Returns, and Assembly.
  • Participate in requirements definitions with business users and IT counterparts for business acquisitions and other incoming demands for new functionalities and enhancements to existing solutions
  • Design IT solutions to meet business requirements and add value to the business
  • Analyze proposed solutions for potential impact on existing processes
  • Prepare and execute unit/integrations tests
  • Take responsibility for project cut-over and post go-live activities
  • Prepare training documentation on new processes
  • Provide support to end user community 
  • Perform root cause analysis of recurring incidents and propose appropriate action plans
  • Manage existing relationships with internal customers by keeping them regularly informed of developments and improvements
  • Ensure Core IT policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to while performing job duties


  • Education:  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with warehouse management focus

  • Business and Technical Skills and Experience:
    • Overall functional knowledge of the order to cash and procure to pay business processes in SAP
    • Expertise on SAP WM module with basic understanding of other integrated warehouse solutions as well as other integrated SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FICO modules
    • Experience in leading process design sessions with business users in full cycle implementation projects
    • Experience in working with AMS (Applications Management Service) providers for Supply Chain & Finance Applications in general and SAP in particular
    • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities
    • Experience in or knowledge of SAP configuration and development helpful but not mandatory
