We offer an exciting opportunity to join our worldwide safety evaluation organization as a Senior Toxicologist within our non-clinical international function.

You have a robust and significant experience (at least 8-10 years) as a toxicologist in the industry, ideally in various environments (food, drug, agrochemical, cosmetic, …) and definitely including pharmaceutical/biotech. Your drivers are both scientific excellence and pragmatism. You are ready to participate to a collective adventure within a modern and agile organization, to face both scientific and human challenges.

Located in France (Clichy), you will work in close collaboration with your Safety colleagues from France, Americas and APAC, as well as regulatory and claim substantiations teams.



Your main roles and responsibilities will be to:

1) Support and assist our teams in the human health risk assessment of innovative consumer products through all phases of their development

2) Advise, propose and follow-up safety scientific strategies using classical and/or emerging trends in risk assessment

3) Provide and develop key product/ingredient defense and advocacy.

You will also:

  • Conduct safety and human health risk assessments for raw materials and products
  • Participate on interdisciplinary business teams in new product development, provide sound scientific solutions to address potential safety concerns.

  • Influence global regulatory environment as toxicology expert on product registrations, data requirements, and emerging or new regulations with potential impact on products.

  • Influence customers and industry peers on complex technical issues to place potential health risks of ingredients in the context of the uses of products.

  • Represent the company in scientific organizations and workshops, task forces of trade associations, and interactions with global regulatory authorities.

  • Anticipate, evaluate, and implement regulatory changes and trends affecting product safety and toxicology support for markets by tracking and researching new or emerging legislations in collaboration with Regulatory team and notifying the various business functions of strategic options.





    MD, DVM Pharmacist and/or PhD in Sciences (toxicology, chemistry, biology…). A post-graduate training in toxicology would be an asset.





      • Robust experience leading and/or managing the design, monitoring and interpretation of chemical characterization analyses, in silico, in vitro and in vivo toxicology, conducted under applicable ISO standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
