Urban Decay is seeking a National Account Coordinator to join our team in Newport Beach, CA.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The primary function of this position is to support the Sell-in sales team and account managers, directors, AVP and VP of sales. This person will be responsible for helping to maintain and coordinate all PRPD Sample orders for the US sales team by creating a log and tracking sheet, developing relationship with the L’Oreal Luxe Distribution Center contact and communicating shipments and delays to the account teams.  They will keep track of all samples in designated location and keep track of what is used, and where it went.  They will also help coordinate shipping of packages to retailers and tracking them back when necessary.   They will have direct contact with multiple retailers so a strong customer service approach and professional and extremely organized disposition is required.  The Coordinator will have visibility to all retail sales and may be expected to do analytical ad hoc reporting.  They will also be responsible for assisting in the setup and execution of meetings:  Gratis, room block, food/drink, room setup, reports, packet creation, copies, and tear down when complete.  The Coordinator will help pilot new IWD software for account team, a tool that analyzes retail sales productivity on store fixtures and assist with artwork routing for gondola updates.   They will also assist all account managers, directors, AVP, and VP with any special projects as needed.  The Coordinator is significant part of the sales team providing support and assisting with many facets of the business.

  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Place all manual Shop orders required to run the business:  Create, build and maintain a Shop order process for the department and ensure all PRPD samples are ordered in a timely manner for all US sales needs across accounts.   Create a good working relationship with DC contact to trace, update, maintain and track all orders and communicate to internal sales team on any challenges or sticking points.   
  • Shipping samples to retailer for any needs:  from samples needed for marketing initiatives to gratis for meetings.   Keep track of all shipments and be able to analyze what samples went where for tracking. 
  • Responsible for coordinating setup for the sales team meetings with retailers (Meeting room block, copies for meeting materials, gratis, ordering meals, room setup and tear down, etc)
  • IWD pilot management for Ulta gondola with potential to roll out across multiple retailers. 
  • Review price strip/gondola strips and artwork when routed:  check SRPs, Spelling, cross check assortment, etc. Call out any discrepancies during routing process so artwork can be corrected.    
  • Ad Hoc retail sales reporting and analysis.   
  • Other special projects as needed by the dept.   

These job responsibilities are subject to change in accordance with business necessity.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education/ Experience/ Licenses or Certifications:

  • Four-year degree required. Business/Sales degree preferred.
  • 1 -2 years retail or industry related experiences preferred.

Software:

  • Standard MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • SAP training preferred but not required.
