Job Title EDI and Inventory Control Analyst- Promotional Packaging

Division: Professional Products Division

Location: Streetsboro, OH (Willing to travel to Local 3PL at least every two weeks)

Reports To: Sr. Mgr. - Returns

What You Will Learn:

The EDI and Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for effectively managing EDI transactions, Inventory Accuracy, and movement of product between the L’Oreal Professional Products Division Distribution Center, and the Promotional Packaging 3PL provider.

  • Monitor IDOC’s and ensure appropriate resolution to IDOC issues
  • Monitor master data set up, in collaboration with Assembly Planning and 3PL
  • Track errors, and identify permanent solutions through root cause analysis and collaboration with 3PL, Distribution Center, and Assembly Planning
  • Establish KPI’s to effectively measure EDI accuracy, Inventory accuracy, and transportation effectiveness between sites
  • Travel to 3PL on monthly basis, spot check inventory versus site, and system
  • Develop and document process to effectively monitor EDI, Inventory, and yearly physical inventory
  • Lead execution of yearly physical inventory
  • Ensure that all physical locations are a match to systems (3PL, Distribution Center WMS)
  • Collaborate with Assembly Planning, Packaging, and 3PL to effectively launch seasonal work
  • Work with DC management to ensure that product is picked, and ensure transportation is identified to move product to and from our 3PL
  • Work with Packaging engineering to quote reworks
 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree, or 5-7 years experience
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Excel, PowerPoint
  • SAP Preferred, but other systems acceptable, EDI
  • 25% local travel to Columbus, OH area
