POSITION PURPOSE

 

The role of the Asst Account Manager is responsible for supporting the national accounts team on retailer-specific analytical duties. Drive sales through sales analysis & reporting to pursue and grow sales fundamentals opportunities. Collaborate with national accounts to maintain up-to-date plans (side-by-side, sales reporting & calendar), as well as, forecasting, inventory and order management. This position is responsible for developing strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners at all levels while maintaining Urban Decay company values to achieve strategic initiatives.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Support the customer strategy through detail tracking and analysis
  • Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and opportunity areas for growth drivers
  • Maintain reporting needs to run the brand/retailer
  • Plan and execute sales processes:
    • New Item Forms
    • Vendor Item Set up (PIM)
    • Retail .com site updates (PDPs, Asset) and management
    • Track and manager retailer contracts with support of the Sr. Mgr, Acct Sales Planning
    • Financial entries of gross-to-net in the internal system with support of the Sr. Mgr, Acct Sales Planning
    • Help compile communications, reporting, etc
    • Add/Delete form
    • LEAP/ minoration management
    • Sample/gratis orders
  • Meeting and event planning to coordinate with cross-functional teams and coordinate with retailer on key stakeholder meetings + events (pack gratis, prepare PowerPoint presentation, misc coordination)
  • Assist sales team with daily tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing sales materials, and managing customer inquiries.

 

 

·       Qualification Standards:

  • Bachelor’s degree and interest in the prestige beauty industry.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturer or retailer space
  • Previous experience working directly within the prestige beauty industry and/or with a major beauty retailer a plus.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen; comprehensive understanding of retail math
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Self-initiative and proactive skills required
  • Ability to work independently within a rigorous deadline schedule
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel & Power Point
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Exhibit sound judgement in handling confidential matters


Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 plus bonus plus FT benefits
