Physical Flows Clerk

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Shift Information: 3rd Shift (Monday – Friday - 10 pm – 6:30 am)

Position Overview/Position Responsibilities:

As a Physical Flows Clerk, you will be responsible for Responsible for facilitating processes related to picking activities ensuring that accuracy, quality, productivity, and shipping deadlines are met.  Maintains accurate flow of communication between leadership and adjacent picking areas related to picking capacity and daily performance. 

What We Are Looking For:

• High school diploma required.
• Two plus years’ experience in a shipping environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, preferred.
• RF scanning experience, preferred.

Full Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below listing:

Picking Areas 

• Communicates with supervision to align on weekly and daily picking volume expectations. Ensures communication for headcount needs will meet production goals
• Plays a key role in maintaining inventory and quality accuracy 
• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees to support business needs
• Plays and active role in daily headcount placement
• Follows processes and does not engage in shortcuts 

Safety

• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Comply with OHSA and other applicable standards.
• Reports issues and problems to Management
• Ensure that safety/housekeeping regulations are met and that all employees are working in a safe environment.

Documentation

• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents both domestically and internationally.
• Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping activities.
• Enter data into systems.
• Ensure that packaging counts match picking documents.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies.

Physical Requirements

• Stand 95% of the shift.
• Be able to lift/handle standard shipping cartons.
