 What You Will Do: 
 
 The position will perform tasks and functions to support the Distribution operation. Key functions include international order communication/consolidation with Freight Forwarders, Steam Ship Lines and Customer Service. Work Closely with Order Processing to achieve dates scheduled for pickup. Position will also back-up Domestic Shipping team during call offs or vacations. 
 * Create and distribute reporting to the operations teams for greater visibility to information to make decisions. Communicate daily international requirements to staff
 * Leads and assists special projects as needed by business and provides local assistance to both external and internal auditors. 
 * Communicates with Carriers, Drivers, Freight Forwarders, Steamship lines and L'Oreal International MSL team on any changes in the transportation of goods. 
 * Represent PPD transportation in a professional, cooperative, and engaged manner. Occasionally Fill in on Domestic coordinator functions as needed. 
 * Responsible for scheduling outbound appointments for container loading or air freight carriers. 
 * Validates and signs all Hazmat documents. Reviews Hazardous Packing requirements are correct for Hazmat Air shipments. 
 * Planning and implementation of efficient loading and documentation of outbound international shipments.
 * Ensures all proper documentation for international shipments are completed accurately as it relates to shipment. 
 
 What We Are Looking For: 
 
 Required Qualifications: 
 
 · High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 
 
 · 2-4 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred 
 
 · Strong oral and written communications skills 
 
 · Strong organizational skills 
 
 · Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. Word and Excel experience required 
 
 · Experience with internal auditing preferred 
 
 · Manhattan and SAP experience preferred 
 
 . Strong understanding of Hazardous Materials knowledge when shipping Ocean, Air or 
 
 Ground. DOT, IATA and IMDG Regulations.
