What You Will Do: The L’Oréal Derm Team Regional Sales Director will be responsible for leading, coaching, supporting, and developing a team of 8-10 Skin Health Advisors in a designated region. As leaders for the L’Oreal Derm Team their key objective will be to implement the medical detailing strategy to influence dermatologists in referring patients to CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, and Vichy products and to meet sales and KPI goals and objectives. 


Responsibilities 


• Maximize the effectiveness of Skin Health Advisors by providing consistent in-field support. This involves dedicating 70% of your time (3.5 days per week) to accompanying Advisors on calls. Implement a rotating schedule to ensure regular engagement with each team member. Optimize travel routes for efficiency. Consistently document all observations and activities within detailed Field Coaching Reports for review by AVP and above.

• Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and maintain a high-performing medical sales team. 

• Develop and implement regional and territory-level strategies by regularly analyzing all available sales and recommendation data • Ensure all team members meet and exceed goals by collaborating with AVP to establish clear, measurable expectations and foster transparent communication through ongoing feedback and support. Employ situational leadership and take corrective action when needed. Conduct quarterly check-ins and performance reviews to ensure consistent evaluation and goal setting. - Internal use • Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the region.

 • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and presenting clinical sales materials and convey understanding to team members through modeling and coaching. 

• Provide market intel updates to management.

 • Evaluate coverage needs within the region and propose realignments to AVP as needed.

 • Collaborate with Education and Development team to ensure proficiency in selling skills, product technology, and skin physiology.

 • Work with Education and Development team on the development of collateral and medical detailing materials.

 • Effectively manage regional T&E budget and allocated funds. • Ensure full implementation of sales and marketing strategies.


What We Are Looking For:


 Required Qualifications:

 • Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 5 years’ experience in management / leadership capacity overseeing a field sales team, preferably in a pharmaceutical or B2B environment.

 • Must live within the region's boundaries. 

• Proven ability in building professional relationships, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 • Entrepreneurial spirit; business oriented, and goal driven.

 • Team player. • Leadership capability to manage, coach, develop, and motivate team and ensure commitment to brand vision and objectives.

 • Flexibility and adaptability in an evolving business environment

 • Creative thinker: develop innovative strategies to engage a dermatologist’s interest and solve problems.


 Preferred Qualifications:

 • Dermatology experience preferred. 


Travel: 

• Must be able to travel (3-4 days per week) with overnight stays as needed including attendance at corporate and medical conferences.
