Who You Are:
Are you a passionate and results-oriented hairstylist with a passion for education and a deep understanding of the professional beauty industry? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment where you can make a real impact on the success of others? If so, we want you on our team! Here's what we're looking for:
- Hairdressing Expertise: You possess extensive experience in technical hairdressing and styling (5+ years minimum), coupled with a strong understanding of hair care products and techniques.
- Training & Facilitation Skills: You are a confident and engaging trainer with proven experience in delivering impactful educational content to diverse audiences.
- Customer-Centric Approach: You are passionate about elevating the customer experience, demonstrating empathy, and tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Brand Knowledge & Advocacy: You are deeply familiar with our BRANDS, their identities, value propositions, and product portfolios, and you are eager to share your knowledge with others.
- Digital Fluency: You are comfortable leveraging digital tools and platforms to deliver training, engage with clients, and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaboration & Communication: You are a strong communicator and collaborator, able to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and business partners.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Customer Trainings:
- Visit and train customers in the KWAZULU-NATAL region to develop their technical skills and product knowledge, working closely with Business Partners.
- Provide personalized follow-up and support to high-potential clients, fostering their growth and success.
- Lead engaging and informative training sessions in salons, academies, and online, aligning with the Education strategy for all brands.
- Act as a key contact for clients regarding the Access platform, driving adoption, usage, and penetration to maximize its benefits.
- Utilize live streams, e-events, and other innovative approaches to boost sales through education.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize interactions with stylists, amplifying the reach and impact of educational efforts.
New Client Partnership:
- Identify and train new potential client partners in collaboration with Business Partners.
Schools:
- Deliver specialized training programs to hairdressing schools within the designated area.
Brand Identity:
- Serve as a guardian of the brand's awareness and image within the KWAZULU-NATAL region.
- Ensure salons adhere to brand standards and best practices.
- Effectively communicate brand values, product information, and technical expertise during seminars, trainings (classroom, digital, webinars, etc.) to customers and colleagues.
Reporting:
- Diligently report on all education actions and outcomes via the Access platform and management channels.
Business Duo Coordination:
- Provide ongoing training and support to Business Partners on brand-specific products, services, and initiatives.
Management:
- Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced Education Managers across the brand portfolio.
TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- 5+ years of experience in hairdressing and styling.
- Proven training facilitation skills.
- Strong hair care product knowledge.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to foster empathy.
- In-depth knowledge of customer profiles and a commitment to customer-centricity.
- Mastery of all technical hair topics.
- Comprehensive understanding of brand identities and value propositions.
- Ability to transmit and empower customers with appropriate learning solutions.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Excellent influencing and communication skills.
- Awareness of latest digital trends and social media levers.
