A Day in the Life

As a Senior Product Manager for Maybelline, reporting to the Marketing Manager for Make-up, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating product launches and driving growth for our pillar products. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your product expertise with a deep understanding of the consumer and market dynamics to shape the future of Maybelline in South Africa.

  • Consumer & Market Analysis: Dive deep into consumer and market insights, analyzing competitor strategies to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Product Launch & Management: Spearhead new product launches, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing market impact. Sustain growth for existing pillar products and actively manage the core catalogue.
  • Marketing Mix Strategy: Develop and implement integrated marketing communication strategies across all channels (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) to create engaging consumer experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Mobilize and collaborate with sales, logistics, education, and other departments, as well as external agencies, to build and execute a cohesive business strategy.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Manage the product portfolio P&L, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and efficient budget allocation.
