Job Summary 

The Senior Manager – Facilities & Maintenance is to support our automated distribution center in Walton, KY. This person will have responsibility for both the site’s maintenance team and also the site’s facilities. The individual will be counted on to be the site’s liaison with external parties with respect to systems projects and initiatives. Within the site, the individual will be the site’s subject matter expert on systems projects, maintenance excellence, systems project management, and facilities. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and Supervise Maintenance team
• Maintain spare parts inventory for site automation
• Work with Cimcorp and L’Oréal IT on upgrades to the systems/site – bug fixes, general maintenance, and continuous improvement items
• Technical expert and resource for operators during downtime events
  • Work with Cimcorp/maintenance to troubleshoot issues
  • Liaison between Cimcorp/Walton and L’Oréal IT to troubleshoot issues
• Schedule and execute PMs with maintenance team and Cimcorp
• Experience with work order management systems (Net Facilities a plus)
• Manage site’s capital projects through all stages of project management cycle. 
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for downtime events and automation/systems failures.
• Responsible for troubleshooting, identifying, and rectifying mechanical and electrical issues within automated distribution center.
• Lead IT projects/initiatives within facility.
• Support site’s IT network management. 
• Cater systemic solutions and improvement to align with the needs of the business.
• Work with operations team to improve distribution center processes from a systems, automation, and technology perspective.
• Oversees/assures optimal functionality of building systems (HVAC, fire/life safety equipment, exits, etc.)
• Recommends, justifies, develops, and coordinates projects that enhance the property
• Oversees the site asset list
• Acts as the primary site contact with the landlord as required.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or Engineering. 
• 5-10 years' experience
• Previous experience managing teams required
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in SQL, BI Tools (Cognos, Tableau)
• SAP Experience preferred.
• Manufacturing Plant/ Distribution Center Experience preferred.
• WMS Experience (Manhattan WMOS) preferred.
