What You Will Learn:

The CeraVe brand is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Advocacy and Influencer (A&I) Marketing who can bring expertise in advocacy and influence via all marketing channels to grow the CeraVe customer base and retain customers who love the brand.  The Sr. Manager will drive the development of brand advocates at all levels from nano, micro and macro, using the latest strategies and tactics in the A&I space such as tentpole campaign & product launch support, community building, seeding, and creator/ambassador development.  The Sr. Manager will learn to elevate their skills through differentiating CeraVe’s A&I presence in the challenging skincare space, where brands remain competitive through the addition of new, trending, relevant content and the creation of partnerships that uniquely impacts a myriad of customer profiles.

  • INFLUENCER MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Develop campaign strategy and execute tactical deployment of influencer marketing for CeraVe in the US in support of major marketing campaigns/tentpoles, important moments to the brand, product launches and in an always-on capacity.
    2. Identify opportunity areas, closely follow social media & trends and make recommendations based on influencer/social landscape including category and competitive trends; remain agile to adapt plans to capitalize on relevant opportunities.
    3. Develop an overarching strategy for A&I that reflects trends and dynamics in the market, changes & evolutions of social platforms, and keeps the CeraVe brand competitive in the social media space.
    4. Represent influencer marketing leadership on the team and work closely with the AVP of Advocacy & Influencer Marketing on LDB Digital US as well as Global LDB Digital counterparts, to ensure strong synergy of execution, alignment to L’Oreal goals and KPIs, and use of industry-leading best practices within influencer marketing.
    5. Lead plan execution, manage budget, establish key KPIs and report performance metrics, including key learnings to shape future activations.
    6. Oversee and recommend influencer partners, ensuring diversity and authenticity; manage influencer content development and approvals, track campaigns via Traackr.
      • Ensure content is properly tagged and reported within Traackr to ensure accurate reporting in various dashboards.
    7. Partner with US Media lead to develop year-round boosting strategy, monitor, and optimize for performance. Match KPIs against boosting strategy to ensure #1 rankings against skincare industry brands in share of views and engagements via L’Oreal platforms such as Traackr.
    8. Oversee influencer campaigns led by individual retail accounts and provide brand approval.
    9. Own and manage influencer agency relationships, recommend new partners as needed to execute in unique ways against strategy.
    10. Ensure measurement, reporting and analytics are delivered on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
    11. Become an expert in L’Oreal internal influencer processes. 
  • ADVOCACY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Develop strategies to further promote advocacy and CeraVe brand love within the social media space and in marketing channels.
    2. Oversee seeding programs and creator and advocate communities to develop relationships with a broad range of creators and ensure the continuous creation of compelling content around the brand.  
    3. Oversee affiliate programs in support of TikTok Shop including the sourcing, vetting, seeding, and on-going operational communications to ensure the affiliate program is delivering on profitable sales.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Education Requirements – Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, 
  • 5-8 Years of Experience in influencer marketing in the skincare, beauty and/or CPG industry
  • Passionate about social media, particularly trends and conversations in the beauty and skincare space. 
  • Experience in creating and delivering effective presentations via PowerPoint and proficient in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experienced with use of Traackr platform for reporting of influencer marketing performance.
  • Must be a strategic planner and creative thinker with a strong vision and collaborative mindset.
  • Must demonstrate proven ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines.
  • Must be change agile and demonstrate success working in a fast-paced, evolving landscape. 
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, collaboration and ability to build strong business relationships.
  • Experience managing content and creative, and well versed with creator communities.
  • Required to be in office 3 days per week (NOTE: during remaining weeks of 2024, the CeraVe brand will be in office in alternating weeks while the Hudson Yards office is being remodeled).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Beauty/Skincare Management, Business and/or relevant area.
  • Relevant Industry Certifications

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $119,900-$170,800 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
