What You Will Do:
This position will supervise facilities maintenance at a 650,000 sq ft Distribution Center.  Candidates must work well in a team environment, have maintenance and supervisory experience and be passionate about Environmental, Health & Safety. This position will oversee the maintenance team along with outside contractors. The Streetsboro DC is an ISO 45001 Certified site and believes in continuous improvement.



  • Oversees preventative maintenance, repairs & modifications of electrical, plumbing, building, material-handling equipment, fire prevention, conveyors, etc.
  • Manages outside contractors working onsite.
  • Manages the Safety Validation Program
  • Manages all work orders through completion and provides feedback.
  • Will participate on the site Spill & First Aid Teams
  • Responsible for the daily supervision of two maintenance technicians, support operations, maintain equipment, the facility, utilities, and the grounds in accordance with federal, state and company policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining and advancing the sites PM program.
  • Plans & schedules maintenance activities using the CMMS system.
  • Ensures all safety procedures are being adhered too.
  • Oversees and conducts audits of contractors working onsite.
  • Constant interaction with maintenance and contractors working onsite.
  • Maintains the inventory of critical spare parts and supplies.
  • Ensures all documentation (permits & reports) are filled out properly and completely.
  • Provides training to the team on safety and other relevant topics.
  • Works with outside vendors & contractors on repairs and projects.
  • Reviews and tracks downtime of equipment and shares this information with the management team and drive continuous improvement using Maintenance Excellence Tools/Total Productive Maintenance.
  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures related to maintenance.
  • Most of your time will be spent on the floor interacting with maintenance employees and site supervision evaluate=ng equipment, safe work practices and potential improvements.
  • Working over-time when required.
  • Respond to off hour emergencies if they arise.


What We Are Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Computer Skills: (e.g. MS Office including Excel, Word & Power Point) are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Understanding of basic lean and continuous improvement tools such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • A degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
