A Day in the Life

As a Medical Representative for L'Oréal's Dermatological Beauty Division, you will be the scientific ambassador for our iconic brands (La Roche-Posay, Vichy, CeraVe, SkinCeuticals) to healthcare professionals. You will join a dynamic and high-performing team, playing a key role in increasing the prescription and recommendation of our products, directly contributing to our growth in the territory covering the West Island of Montreal, the South Shore, and Ottawa.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Enhance Brand Image and Recommendation: Visit targeted healthcare professionals to present our products and services, emphasizing their technical and scientific characteristics to increase prescriptions.
• Implement the Medical Visit Strategy: Meet coverage and visit frequency targets, effectively use promotional tools, and adapt your communication to meet the specific needs of each professional.
• Analyze and Optimize Your Sector: Monitor your results and those of the competition to propose corrective action plans and improve the return on investment in your territory.
• Ensure Synergy and Reporting: Collaborate with commercial teams to boost sales in pharmacies and rigorously manage your planning and activity reports via our CRM platforms.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with strong scientific expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit to represent our brands with credibility and conviction. You have a proven ability to build strong relationships and translate science into concrete patient benefits. Your thoroughness and analytical skills allow you to manage your territory autonomously and strategically.

The ideal candidate:

• Holds a scientific university degree (e.g., Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biology).
• Has at least one year of on-the-road experience as a medical representative.
• Is perfectly fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Medical Detailing Skills: Ability to build a personalized dialogue with physicians, handle objections, and secure prescriptions.
• Scientific Knowledge: Mastery of skin physio-pathologies, our products, and the regulatory environment.
