Manufacturing Supply Chain INTERNSHIP

In Settimo Torinese, Italy, is active one of the main production centers of L’Oréal Groupe in the world. The plant's products are distributed in 30 countries. The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, minimal impact on the environment. Between 2005 e il 2020 in terms of environmental management, outstanding results have been reached. The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory, that is a production site which consumes water solely as a raw material for products and not for other uses. In this way more than 40,000 m3 are reused and therefore saved every year, equal to over 80 swimming pool of 25 m. 

For our site we are looking for an Intern to join the Manufacturing Supply Chain team.

The candidate, with the company tutor, will follow a training course aimed to understand the dynamics and production processes of the industrial supply chain, participating in some transversal projects in launches of new make-up and haircare products.

Key responsibilities of the role

• Support in the launch and development of a new product from an industrial point of view, collaborating with the team and interfacing with different stakeholders inside and outside the Plant
• Renewal of the components and formulas of the products in the catalogue to bring them into compliance with the law
• Follow up and support in managing substitutions according to production planning
• Support in the management of the decoration flow
• Analysis and reporting activities

Basic requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management and/or Industrial Production Engineering, Business Administration
• Fluent in Italian and English (French is a plus)
• Complete mastery of Microsoft Office programs (knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus)

Type of offer: 6-month full-time EXTRACURRICULAR internship in presence
