Warehouse specialist INTERN

In Settimo Torinese, Italy, is active one of the main production centers of L’Oréal Groupe in the world. The plant's products are distributed in 30 countries. The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, minimal impact on the environment. Between 2005 e il 2020 in terms of environmental management, outstanding results have been reached. The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory, that is a production site which consumes water solely as a raw material for products and not for other uses. In this way more than 40,000 m3 are reused and therefore saved every year, equal to over 80 swimming pool of 25 m. 

For our site we are looking for an Intern to join the Performance and Transformation team.

The resource will support the management and optimization of the warehouse, which is essential for the deployment of maintenance in our plant. 

Key responsibilities of the role

• Support in arranging goods in stock (spare parts) and their coding on dedicated software
• Compile inventory, update inventory data, and determine the need for goods and materials
• Verify the conformity of spare parts in relation to orders, quality and quantity
• Knowledge of the organizational methodologies of production processes
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical spare parts
• Centralized Warehouse Optimization
• Mechanical and maintenance skills

Basic requirements:

• Mechanical Diploma 
• Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English
• Complete mastery of Microsoft Office programs and good predisposition to the use of management systems

Type of offer: 6-month full-time EXTRACURRICULAR internship in presence
