COMPANY SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION:  

The AVP of Acquisitions and Systems is accountable for the management of the IT business application functional and technical leadership to the OMA organization.  This includes, the Global governance of all change requests and system developments for the OMA organizations, as well as support for Global Acquisitions and the recommendations for system design to support the business model. This position will be accountable for the overall management and executional delivery of IT system deployments, developing and steering IT projects and solutions, training on systems, managing the IT steering process for the group and master data governance. This position is accountable for ensuring the fluidity of the business applications with the Best Practices of the Organization, aligned with Internal Controls. This position is also accountable for the overall management and governance of Acquisition Integration into OMA.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

 

The overall objective of the position is to provide the global management of change requests and systems evolutions in order to meet the business and information technology requirements of the OMA organizations, as well as the governance over new acquisition integration into the OMA US organization. Also, to respectfully through words and actions, lead, coach, empower and enable the team to deliver goals.

 

The scope of the position includes:

Acquisition Onboarding/Change Management

  • Main point of contact for NEW OMA Acquisitions
  • Validate feasibility of all business scenarios and changes required
  • Risk mitigation with cross functional stakeholders 
  • End-to-end integration test plans
  • Management of all systems training for both new CMs and end users
  • Accountability for the success of all go live activities and timeline
  • Hyper-care period to ensure sustainability
  • Work Instruction Management and validation
  • Active participation in Steering Meetings 
  • Master Data Governance and Sustainability

Global Business Owner

  • Technical Issue Support for OMA Systems [E2Open/Baghera/SAP]
  • Global Change Request Management including approval, submission, testing and integration, in alignment with Group Norms
  • Global Workshop Animation  to ensure Alignment and one OMA solution strategy
  • Global BCC Participation and Presentation
  • Partnership with IT/DSIO on testing/designing/integrating new developments
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Management across multiple zones
  • Local IT Steering Committee Facilitation, with inclusion of strengthening the local LBO community
  • Support onboarding new CMs
  • Support Global Acquisitions and the integration as an OMA entity

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • 5 years People Management
  • Bachelors degree required 
  • 5 years experience in Production planning, Supply Chain Supply Planning and Inventory Management processes in a consumer goods industry or pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Knowledge of PP and APO modules, including Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling, Supply Network Planning, Live Cache, and BW
  • Good understanding of manufacturing business processes and concepts
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to achieve consensus
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailed, fact-based approach to problem solving and implementing solutions leading to process improvement
  • Strong project management skills
  • Independent problem-solving and thorough analytical skills; self-motivated, self-directed and flexible individual
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to create and animate both short and long term strategies for the group
  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • *Ability to travel 35% of the time
