Key Job Accountabilities

  • This position will handle complete Modern Trade and General Trade business for KPK. Reporting into respective Regional Sales Managers

  • Under the supervision of RSMs , build the joint business plan with the account(s). Implement the Division's sales and distribution strategy in the sales outlets.

  • Contribute to the commercial vision by sharing account perspective, risks and opportunities.

  • Achieve the sales department's quantitative and qualitative goals for his/her region

  • Recruit, motivate and develop his/her teams: by maintaining a culture of excellence up to the point of sale, develop the expertise and know-how of his/her employees and implement organisational changes

  • Ensure continuous communication between management and his/her team. Inform and alert management to significant initiatives in the field (from his/her team, from the competition and from distributors.

  • Develop a strong regional network and capacity of influence among key customers.

  • Identify the potential for commercial development of existing customers and develop their loyalty

  • Identify prospects within his/her industry and develop new business relationships

  • Builds a retailer specific development plan , and a compelling story to get retailer buying in.

  • Build a deep customer intelligence and strong network with key stakeholders at the retailer’s. 

  • Work closely with distributor (s) to create a WIN-WIN for company, distributor and trade


Successful Candidates Must Have’s:

  • 2 to 3 years of work experience  

  • Local language speaker is a preference- Phusto

  • Ability to manage complex business situation

  • Ability to travel extensively and to remote areas.

  • Prior field sales experience within the relevant industry is a must
