Vichy SOCIAL & E-TAIL Assistant marketing manager

The Community & Digital Marketer will be the online voice of the brand across its social platforms. This digital-savvy person and passionate self-starter will be responsible for all communications in the social space including: online content creation and social media and including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.  The Social Manager/Digital Marketer is responsible for creating content and moderating user generated content that appears in the digital space outside of Vichy.com, social listening and escalating any issues to the appropriate internal/client teams.  The candidate will lead influencer and advocacy programs in close connection with the PR teams. This position will also take on E-Tail marketing strategy, in charge of Amazon and divisional eTail partners such as Lovely Skin, DermStore and Skinstore. The candidate should have previous experience with social in particular ie own blog or other social media presence.

Key Responsibilities: 

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Create a social media long term strategy, including: voice/personality, new platform recommendations, implementation of new social planning platform, creation and management of content calendar including establishing KPI objectives.

·         Build communities consisting of consumers, influencers, PR practitioners, Health Care Professionals, and “healthy active moms” through lead researching and profiling.

·         Create strategies for social recruiting and cultivating brand endorsers by leading Vichy ambassador programs including Healthy Active Moms Insider Program.

·         Explore upcoming social networks to make recommendations for brand presence and expanded use of current properties and develop clear strategies for each platform including existing Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest – including collaborating with international teams for asset sharing and brief creation.

·         Lead all content and efforts for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Google and other emerging platforms such as Tumblr, Snapchat, etc. 

·         Closely collaborate with the Vichy eCommerce/CRM Manager on all digital and social content. Align on all content briefs and content calender, including how Le Mag, Vichy’s blog, will be supported and amplified in social media

·         Create strategies for social selling which includes platform enablement, custom optimization strategies and ideas connecting social platforms pushing to ecomm as sell as social enablement on the ecommerce platform.

·         Ideate with Marketing Franchise heads and execute social media specific campaigns that help build brand awareness and support marketing activities like brand campaigns, micro-content strategies, social media engagement etc which includes campaign monitoring, campaign reporting, event monitoring, prospect & audience building

·          

·         Work inter-departmentally to gain content and ensure alignment on social (E-commerce, E-, Marketing team, PR agency, Customer Marketing, Retailers Activities,)

·         Work with eTail and Amazon teams to create strategies, develop content, drive advice, lead search campaigns, garner product reviews, recommend style guide segments and collaborate on eTail Digital and Social Channels.

·         Create and manage contests, giveaways and promotions across social platforms to encourage engagement

·       

            Respond to all comments across digital changes, ie. eRetailer and eTail site to better engage Vichy consumers and communities

Management & Moderation

Publishing:

  • Working across the organization to build a “content factory” ie with outside copy writers/dermatologists, International and other country assets, and across ACD
  • Create and shoot images or recommend working with a freelancer to support social content
  • Create and execute contests and giveaways / marketing campaigns
  • Create and publish to geographic groups to make social channels a means to discover new door openings, in-store events etc.
  • Create demographic groups to tailor publishing according to interests ie anti-aging vs acne
Moderation:
  • Review user generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner
  • Respond to comments, when appropriate, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience
  • Monitor and respond to comments outside the social scoop but still in the digital space like: blogs, YouTube, Google
  • Escalate user generated content, where appropriate, to internal and client stakeholders (PR department, Customer Service, Legal team and others.)
  • Build and moderate online communities and sub-communities (skin cancer survivors, sensitive skin, acne)
  • Recommend new moderation activities ie Reddit, Periscope
  •  

Listening/Influencer Communities

  • Utilize social listening tools to create communities i.e skin cancer awareness, sensitive skin, acne
  • Utilize social listening to identify influencers to create relationships with and add to our PR lists of VIPs
  • Utilize social listening to identify influencers to become part of an ambassador program
  • Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable ideas back to Marketing. 
  • Establish appropriate KPI goals and provide reports on metrics and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives 

Consumer care partnership

  • Develop on-going relationship and partnership on social care    
  • Standardized reporting

ETAIL OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the key partner to the ACD eTail team including Amazon and other divisional eTail Partners to drive Vichy strategy, manage content of the site, and execute strategies that help deliver sales objectives.

  • Launches – collaborate with Franchise managers on product copy, product images, videos and other assets to provide eTail/Amazon
  • International skus – collaborate with international managers for product descriptions, product images, A+ content
  • Amazon Paid Search –  develop keywords, copy, and fill out Labelium’s template
  • Reviews – collaborating with PINCHme to launch review campaigns
  • Amazon Q&A – answering questions on a bi-monthly basis, and seeding questions on strategic skus / new launches
  • Style Code Live – brainstorm ideas for segments and pitch to production team
  • A+ Content – provide assets for new lunches, renovations and updates in collaboration with Marketing Franchise Managers
  • Professional store content – collaborating on articles and banners for quarterly content updates
  • GWP & sampling – collaborate with marketing trade manager or sampling lead to coordinate planning support, DPM, and rework with UPC
  • Flag product updates – initiative packaging changes, discontinuations, new assets availability etc
  • Communicate to the eTail team onlarge PR placements/awards
  • Special one-off projects – i.e. brand store update, SEO updates, refinements tagging etc
  • Manage the trade/marketing calender with eTail teams

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc.
  • Understanding of popular social networks – design, functionality, users
  • Demonstrated ability to produce community management guidelines and documents that reflects the holistic understanding and implementation of the role of social media and its effects
  • Analytical system savvy: Proficiency or ability to learn quickly social listening tools like Radian6 or other listening programs
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, community management, and digital communication, ecommerce
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business, economics or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience of assisting/owning web production processes and workflows
  • Believeitis (an infectious condition of extreme belief that everything and anything is possible)
  • Possess excellent conceptual and problem solving skills and a resourcefulness to tackle varied challenges
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team, culturally diverse organization
  • Team player with high degree of accountability is essential.
