PERSON SPECIFICATION 

  • NVQ Level 2 in beauty/nail therapy (or equivalent) qualification is essential
  • Good understanding of retail / nail environment
  • Ability to manage a team and communicate effectively
  • Previous experience in retail, in a similar environment is essential




PEOPLE MANAGEMENT 

  • Manage and motivate retail team, mobile analysts and agency staff
  • Set standards for team and to ensure each individual is adhering to selling standards as laid down by the training department
  • To assist all team members with product knowledge and selling skills, should it be necessary
  • Effectively communicate with team and to carry out regular team meetings
  • Allocate responsibilities to team as and where necessary




ACHIEVEMENT OF TARGETS

  • To be aware of all personal and overall targets as laid down and achieve the same




PLANNING AND ORGANISATION

  • Forward planning, use of initiative, proactive stance to the retail business




WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with department managers




KNOWLEDGE OF THE BUSINESS/INDUSTRY

  • Awareness of latest trends, competitor aware




CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Professional standards, achieving sales targets, correct use of procedure, high personal standards
  • Customer approach (traffic stopping)
  • Completing high quality level of nail services

  • Range, availability, suitability, product quality, features and benefits

AWARENESS OF COMPANY SERVICES

  • Sale previews, mailing lists, special discounts, customer special orders etc., new product launches etc.




LOSS PREVENTION

  • Theft, vigilance, preventative action, company systems and procedures, till point security, lack of stock, proper use of Company property etc.




COUNTER PRESENTATION

  • Visual merchandising, housekeeping standards on sales floor and the nail bar




ADMINISTRATION

  • Till procedures, stock counts, stock transfers, stock, ticketing, reporting paperwork.




TRAINING AND COMMUNICATION

  • Your own development, training new staff, communication with the Account Manager and colleagues, correct use of telephone, self-motivation, teamwork





LEGAL OBLIGATIONS

  • Health and safety obligations, fire precautions, observing customer rights, awareness of store beauty obligations etc.




PERSONAL PRESENTATION

  • Excellent grooming standards at all times




EVENTS PLANNING

  • Either on own department or store activity




OTHER DUTIES

  • As and when required.
