§ Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, performing architectural assessments, and optimizing data models
§ Proven ability to work proactively and independently to address project requirements and design optimal solutions
§ Proven ability to document technical requirements together with ability to propose and document design solution options
§ Prior data modeling and engineering experience (incl. data integrations) is mandatory
§ Ability to write advanced SQL is mandatory
§ Advanced Python or R skills is mandatory (Python is preferred)
§ Google Cloud Platform certifications will be a big plus
§ Prior experience in leading a team of technical developers will be a plus
Job objectives:
Work with implementation teams from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern cloud-based data/analytics technologies. The hire will also be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams.
Job description:
§ Collaboratively work with stakeholders, project team members and partners in defining technical requirements for complex business problems
§ Lead both technical and functional discussions and leverage knowledge of best practices
§ Work with the project teams to translate requirements into project designs, deliverables, and prioritization
§ Monitor, control, and support in project delivery; ensuring technical implementations that best serve the functional requirements and that fully align with technical guidelines provided by solution architecture teams
§ Accountable for creating and sustaining reusability (data assets, pipelines, code, models, tools, and techniques) across projects
§ Accountable for the data quality and system performance
§ Provide continuous improvement & optimization suggestions on data models
§ Work with relevant teams to determine structure and content of data pipeline for current and future business requirements
§ Manage and ensure the process documentations library is organized and up to date
Work with internal and external parties on facilitating and delivery of Data & Analytics initiatives within the region
