What You Will Do: This position has global marketing responsibility for the development of key US hair franchises such as Ever, Feria and Le Color Gloss and is the key driver for panier innovation. We anticipate this role will ultimately lead either the hair care or hair color portfolio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the product development for the pillars, new product concepts / launches and renovations. This position will be responsible for managing large scale projects. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Define 3-year panier 
  • Liaison with the international DMI in Paris and the US integrators to ensure panier alignment and complementarity vs the global franchises (such as Elvive / Preference / Excellence / Casting Crème Gloss)
  • Work with the labs to identify the best technologies and formulas
  • Work with the US tech center to test the technologies in the US
  • Promote a creative climate that allows teams to express ideas
  • Manage and develop the expertise of diverse teams; influence team structure and culture
  • Influence other departments to meet brand development goals
  • Conduct extensive market research of the US market to decode consumer insights; identify trends and propose strategies 
  • Collaborate with Creative to create launch materials including merchandising and sampling

 

What We Are Looking For: 

Education/Experience: 

  • BA degree required
  • 7+ years of marketing work experience – must have beauty industry expertise, ideally hair
  • Previous experience in global marketing or product innovation a must
  • Experience working collaboratively with R&D on a new product or renovation
  • Experience successfully launching and managing a new product or renovation through its entire life cycle
  • Prior experience in Operational Marketing is ideal
  • Experience managing challenging projects that may not have been successful 
  • Experience or exposure to international market

  • Brand Administration: create project plan according to panier portfolio gaps; in-depth knowledge of brand equity and management
  • Product Development: partner with PD team to advise in concept writing, formula briefing and evaluation, packaging development and budget

  • Leadership: Demonstration of leadership with team; support departments and customers 
  • Strong Project Management Skills 
  • PC Proficiency (Microsoft Suite)

Additional Benefits Information As Follows: 

Salary Range: $139,700 - $199,100 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
