L’Oreal Group has aggressively embraced the digital era and has advanced many leading consumer-facing digital solutions across its brands.  Marketing and advertising technologies are an area of vast strategic focus, and will power the next phase of our digital transformation through personalization across channels.  Our largest transformation is currently the Data Driven Marketing (DDM) Platform that empowers personalized marketing interactions across various channels including, in-store, online, in-app, mobile, and email and serve as the single hub for consumer insights and activation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CRM and Loyalty product and technology teams focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Attentive Mobile, Ad Studio, Journey Builder, and loyalty platforms for solution delivery, roadmaps, and new feature releases
  • Manage a team of technology administrators and developers focused on agency-supported and in-house campaign development and measurement
  • Coordinate and support brand agency partners use of CRM and loyalty platforms
  • Create a 1–3-year roadmap of advanced use cases, data and platform integrations, and capability adoption to drive personalization and best-in-class experiences
  • Document best practices in campaign development and 1P data collection practices across landing pages, SMS, and other on-site tools
  • Drive CoE (Center of Excellence) capabilities with Divisions and Brands
  • Champion a data-first mentality and use a “test and learn” approach to campaign design to maximize results and establish best practices, such as A/B testing, landing page optimization, and personalization
  • Oversee budget of technology spend and monitor brand adoption and usage
  • Expand marketing automation, triggers/journeys, personalization tactics and other advanced use cases to help brands drive CRM growth and loyalty engagement
  • Continuous measurement of KPIs on consumer engagement, conversions, deliverability, and opt-outs
  • Support the modernization of L’Oreal MarTech stack to deliver personalized experiences

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform
  • Experience with Server side JavaScript (SSJS), Cloud Pages and Cloud Resources
  • Experience in integration with Sales and Services cloud
  • Experience in API integration with Enterprise systems
  • Ability to design solutions on the SFMC platform based on technology and business needs, including: availability, redundancy, throughput, speed, and security
  • Basic knowledge of data privacy and regulatory standards for consumer data activation
  • Experience working with APIs to collect/ingest and send data
  • Experience with industry standard BI and Data Visualization Tools such as Looker, Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, and others
  • Design and governance of data management best practices such as normalization and identity management
  • Strong data management, governance, and analytical skills – ideally in the customer/consumer space

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or B.B.A. degree information systems or other technical discipline with relevant work experience
  • Experience in Marketing Technologies (MarTech) and orchestration of consumer data for use in marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Strong project management skills and able to work in an Agile environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Experience leading technical teams with and without a direct reporting structure
  • Outstanding functional and technical communication skills and demonstrated business and IT collaboration
  • Ability to breakdown complex problems into singular pieces of concrete steps to deliverability
  • Must be a team player, able to give and receive feedback, solve challenging problems, and assist others in their deliverables
