What You Will Do:

The Quality Manager is responsible to animate the quality system in regards to packaging launch, new equipment validation, and continuous improvement.  The role is responsible for developing strategy for the launch process E2E by animating validation of new equipment and product launch best in class.  The QM is responsible for the management of the consumer feedback and ensures the appropriate actions are put in place within the launch process to guarantee satisfaction of the consumer. The QM is responsible for continuous improvement in relation to the launch process, quality system, and sustainability.     

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a Science, or Engineering field, Six Sigma Certification a plus; 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality leadership role;
  • Ability to teach statistical processes and validation activities to the team;
  • Requires the ability to meet deadlines, have good organizational skills and have the ability to work independently;
  • Requires understanding of IQOQPQ and Six Sigma for proper interpretation of results;
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

 Responsibilities are not limited to the below listing:

  1. Knows and understands L’Oreal and compliance policies and builds the quality system around them. 
  2. Understands and is knowledgeable in methods and plant processes in an effort to enforce and improve.
  3. Management of customer complaints, including sample reception, recording, coordinating required testing/investigation, completing reports, and communicating results. 
  4. Performs complaint trending with coordination of preventive actions in relation to launch.
  5. Facilitating and ensuring thorough Root Cause Analyses are conducted for complaints and CAPAs are sustainable and prevent future occurrences.
  6. Contacting internal and external experts to help resolve issues and benchmark best practices.
  7. Perform internal audits and drive the action plan to closure. 
  8. Analysis and trending of quality indicators.  Drives actions plans with responsible department associated with any deviations.
  9. Actively engaged in safety and quality programs
