IT Team_IT Business Analyst - Data
Based on the business needs and IT architectures; he/she plans, organizes, analyzes and produces analytics solutions and models in order to answer the business requirements.
- Support the domain “business owners” in the definition of their needs and translate them into recommendations for the development/improvement of IT applications
- Define the functional specifications of the data applications
- Analyze and understand business processes, KPIs and define process maps, models, and data flows to realize the KPIs
- Customize/configure/ develop applications incl. reports and visualizations, select appropriate technical options, prepare functional tests, and endorse responsibility for validating developments before application roll-out
- Provide support to end-users as the “first” level of support for their questions, problems, and demands
- Manage ongoing relationships with internal clients giving regular updates on developments and improvements
- Ability to produce documentation and templates describing products, services, components, reports, or application
- Liaise with internal/external development teams, and regional data & analytics teams to co-ordinate the development of the business needs or demands
- Participate and deploy the change management activities by accompanying end users and providing trainings

- Business acumen (experience with Consumer Packaged Goods/ cosmetics industry will be a plus)
- Deep understanding of data analysis, modeling, and visualizations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Influencing skills and demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in at least one of Python (preferred), Java, or C++
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in data analysis – to access, explore and prepare data by joining and cleaning it using advanced tools (incl. SQL)
- Hands-on experience in data visualizations (incl. creating/ viewing reports) to satisfy requests from business with the ability to drill down to results of interest
- Self-initiated with a high tolerance for ambiguity and ability to create structure (ability to work in a team in an agile setting will be a plus)
- Prior experience in a similar IT role will be a plus
- Prior experience with any of Google Cloud Platform, Looker, or Power BI will be a big plus

- Bachelor/ Masters in Computer Science OR Mathematics OR related technical degree OR Equivalent Experience
- 5+ years in the relevant area
- Fluent in both Korean and English
- Computer skill proficiency: MS PPT, Excel, Word
