What are key highlights of this role?


  • To become the education manager champion in line with Decleor & Carita brand strategy contributing to overall growth of our category using education as a business driver
  • Contribute to overall growth of brand portfolio by expanding the brand awareness and desirability, upgrading Decleor & Carita distribution and elevating the brand experience
  • Foster collaboration and information amongst the team and brands maximizing and defining the education local brand strategy in line with the international brand positioning
  • Oversee and guide education development, manage portfolio priorities
  • Mobilise other departments to support education strategies bringing about new ways of thinking and working to re-energise and modernise the sector
  • Recruit, develop and manage team
  • Ensure development of expertise and know-how in commercial and education team is up to highest standards for delivery
  • Focus on account development through education and maximise education creative, product and business programs. 
  • Ensure the continuous development of education by developing, modernising and implementing successful education strategies to re-invigorate the brand.
  • Foster an environment of team work, spirit and creative flair and establish strong relationships with both internal and external clients, including free-lancers.
  • Identify suitable regional education venues to further extend our education offering and reach to the market
  • Owning the education dashboard to measure KPI’s
  • Act as a mentor to team members – develop and coach to empower high performance.
  • Develop a cross- brand team (at various levels) enabling them to reach their goals and objectives.
  • Work on a systematic diagnostic on a digital platform and on how to digitalise education in 2019 onwards.
  • Develop and create content to support the blending learning platform ACCESS for the UK and Ireland
  • Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered
  • Responsible for the sales training strategy, which supports the delivery of company priorities and meets operational requirements, ensuring that the best commercial outcome is delivered. Responsible for all sales training for all new educators, ensuring that their skill and knowledge is enhanced to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Review and design treatment menus for new and existing business partners, ensure UK and Ireland treatment offering is compelling and in line with the business needs.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing and commercial to design and promote specific seasonal and new product training in line with wider marketing strategies and company targets.

Key Performance Indicators:


·       Owning the education dashboard to measure KPI’s

·       Number of salons trained in-salon, through academy courses and digital initiatives

·       Help grown distribution points – education as pillar for conversion

·       Regular field visits to top accounts

·       Regular field visits with team members

·       PPP control

·       Maintenance of budget in timely manner

·       Clear defined roles for free-lancers and/or direct team

·       Attend team meetings and be a pro-active member
