The Marketing Team Assistant is not only expected to efficiently handle the day-to-day team administrative and organizational tasks, but is also owner of several key projects that allow that person to gain a better understanding of the FMCG business.
OWN GIFTING BUSINESS
Within the changing retail landscape for cosmetics, gifting is becoming more and more important for driving trial, availability and sales during not only the key Christmas period but also throughout the year. The Marketing Team Assistant will own and operate gifting as their own business, including project and stakeholder management, leading the development of the creative look & feel and creating a profitable P&L.
OWN WEEKLY AND MONTHLY ANALYSIS
Regular tracking and analysis of sales and market share is key for the Marketing Team Assistant Role. This means being able to weave stories from complex data points and draw conclusions and create recommendations for future activations.
BE THE HEART OF THE TEAM
The Marketing Team Assistant sits at the heart of the marketing team. This person must be comfortable managing various stakeholders, from Product Managers through to the General Manager, and create a team atmosphere of collaboration – while still having fun of course!
An excellent communicator, with a proven experience of building relationships across an organization
Able to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly
A self-starter who will take initiative in order to meet their goals
Able to take initiative to suggest process improvements to established ways of working in order to gain future efficiencies and share best practice
Interested in the beauty industry and passionate about brands
Time management skills
Previous experience dealing with complex data sets and analysis, as well as within administrative roles
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and a strong numeric and written ability
A solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work at pace and cope with ambiguity
Strong planning and organization skills, with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required
The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines
Touch-typing speed of 50wpm
