MEDIA MANAGER YVES SAINT LAURENT BEAUTY
As Media Manager at YSL Beauty you will the opportunity to plan and implement media strategy on an established beauty brand. YSL Beauty is a three axe brand with an impressive product portfolio that does not only include iconic fragrances Like Black Opium and LIBRE but also boasts award winning and iconic make-up. Our iconic touche éclat pen and foundation, beautiful lipstick shades and active ingredient skincare range called Pure Shots.
YSL Beauty is a diverse brand and it is key to understand media behaviors across different demographics and customer data to effectively and efficiently target them with your media strategy. As an expert in your field you will be working collaboratively as part of a cross functional team with marketing, activation and d2c.
§Drive and implement the media strategy for the brand.
§Own the media budget for YSL Beauty & in alignment with BE & BBD be accountable for defining media priorities by making strategic investment decisions.
§Put the customer targets and path to purchase front and center when planning your media campaigns
§Drive NPD + Pillar strategy at key times for the brand (TV, Press, OOH, Social, Programmatic, BVOD, Search, Partnerships etc.) in collaboration with our media agency
§Integrate performance media into the media plan and drive an always on strategy that encompasses conversion, ROI & data acquisition
§Analyse performance data and provide strategic recommendations in order to gain insight and drive optimization with the agency
§Be responsible for media reporting and deep dives for the brand – share relevant learnings with wider team (incl. DMI and Zone).
§Putting PCA learnings into future campaigns to ensure best media results
§Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure excellence on integrated plans with BET, D2C & media agency.
§Constantly seek to innovate through strategies or technology
§Staying up to date in industry best practices and innovations, and sharing with the wider YSL/ luxe team where appropriate
§Act as a change champion for the brands – ensuring we push innovation in media
§File management of all media folders & owning the block plan
§Able to manage high volumes of complex work
§Act and lead your team with human sensitivity
§Display sensitivity to the métier
§Interacts effectively with all levels of stake holders
§Proven track record in planning and managing complex media campaigns
§Experienced in performance media planning and activation across PPC and Social
§Confident with data analysis in Excel (e.g., with Facebook and Google data pulls)
§A proven track record in planning and managing complex media campaigns
§Experience in performance media planning and activation across PPC and Social
§Experience in buying media across Google (PPC/Programmatic) and Social channels
§Previously worked on larger media budgets with record in driving growth through data-driven decision making
§Confidence in handling data and doing analysis in Excel (e.g., with Facebook and Google data pulls)
§Excellent communication and presentation skills
§Understanding of wide media mix including TV, OOH, Social and Digital planning
§Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once
