The Active Cosmetics Division has enjoyed double digit growth for the last 10 years with very rapid acceleration in the last 2 years and continuing on into 2021.  In 2020 we delivered +49% growth, pivoting significantly to maximise the Ecommerce opportunity that Covid 19 presented and we can now proudly share that our sales are split is 50/50 Bricks vs Ecommerce.  ACD is the smallest division in the UK but the fastest growing by a long way and the division with highest ecommerce sales contribution.  Every channel in ACD is growing from the highstreet accounts to pureplayers and independent pharmacies to our direct to consumer websites.  We are obsessed about the integrity of our brands which are  co-developed, recommended and prescribed by health professionals, including dermatologists, paediatricians, cosmetic doctors and pharmacists around the world. There is plenty of further opportunity to grow through unlocking new consumers and new distribution.  We have a unique, agile and entrepreneurial culture where developing new business and bringing in new tech and tools are the norm but above all we are a people first division and we cherish and value every team member of our ACD family. 


We are seeking a self starting, results driven National Account Manager to establish and grow new business delivering ACDs key eCommerce ambitions in UK&I. This role reports into the Senior National  Account Manager and sits in the eRetail team. This New Business role will be key to deliver ACDs key ambitions in UK&I; which is to pioneer the future of skin health hand-in-hand with our partners​ by offering to our consumers medical experience online through engaging content, events & differentiated brand plans. This is an exciting opportunity to build a business from scratch and executing a go to market strategy that sets us up for long term success.


Voice of the customer

•Having a deep understanding of the need of this business and being the voice of the customer internally to multi functional stake holders.
•New Business strategy approach for ACD

Achieve core sales, brand and profit targets:

•Ownership for  Sales, market share, P&L down to operating profit with a clear understanding of supply chain costs.
•Be building credible and collaborative working relationships with your customer / cross functional contacts
•Develop retailer centric strategies for your customer; identify joint objectives and build business plans for mutual growth
•Influence future retailer initiatives and collaborations; ensuring the brand maximizes all available opportunities in store and online
•Manage all lines of the P&L from retail sell out, SIT and gross margin to ensure delivery of key KPIs both internally & externally
•Work with brand teams to identify additional retail opportunities

Create value through Customer insight and experience

•Analyse and develop learnings from customer insights and data to create opportunities for the account and brands
•Help generate new product reviews with sampling

Eventing & Partnership marketing

•Create & execute cross-brand, cross-category shopper events with customers.

Run and present post event analysis to continue to optimize the plans.

•Alongside experience in a similar role and excellent leadership & communication skills, you should be confident demonstrating all of the following:
•Strong experience in a customer-facing role
•Proven knowledge of retailer strategies and objectives
•Digital expertise and ability to navigate the e-commerce channel
•Strong data analysis capability with the ability to integrate multiple source to build compelling recommendations
•Operating with discipline and attention to detail Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines to ensure product success and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
