Senior Digital Engagement & Comms Manager


The Professional Products Division is universally known for exclusively supplying salons and other professional customers with the most advanced technologies in hair, skin and nail products. The 8 brands within this division are L'Oréal Professionnel, Redken & Pureology, Kerastase & Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Matrix & Biolage and Pulp Riot. You Will:

The Senior Digital Engagement & Comms Manager will be responsible for the following:

Build and drive the communications strategy for Redken & Pureology to strengthen & sharpen the brand images in the UK & Irish markets
Develop and execute a dynamic annual 360° communications calendar with the Communications team and the marketing manager, validated by the GM
Deliver strong editorial and social media coverage for the UK & Ireland in line with brand objectives and PR/Communications targets

INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Oversee ideation and execution of disruptive, high-impact integrated communication campaigns for key product launches and strategic brand moments, in addition to always-on buzz.
Deliver digital-first platform native campaigns, leveraging strong understanding and mastery of all media and retailer touchpoints (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Retailers, and other influential platforms, etc), partnering with emerging and established talents across all platforms
Lead and execute brand eventing strategy delivering high-impact branded events with strong ROI

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT & TALENT SCOUTING

Leverage own, and establish best-in-class relations with expansive network of press directors and editors, influencers, content creators, agents and key fashion, beauty and media houses across all platforms (established & emerging)
Proactively scout rising talents aligned to new brand positioning, identifying the relevant role-players to embody brand values and core messages

REPUTATION MANAGEMENT

Anticipate crisis, identify issues related to the brand, and lead on reputation management, alongside the Comms Director, DMI, and Corporate

PERFORMANCE, BUDGET & TEAM MANAGEMENT

Establish ambitious targets for the brands, and design strategies to ensure targets are achieved month-on-month while reporting on these and sharing insights and opportunities.
Bring your team along the journey allowing them to feed into ambitions, delegating actions, creating check-in/status meetings, presenting plans and performance results on both a monthly basis internally and to wider teams

You have: 
Experience at a senior level across various comms functions within FMCG & Beauty.
A passion for digital, including topics like; influencer advocacy, social commerce, content creation. Great understanding of the digital media landscape.
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and able to multi-task with solid organizational and time management skills
Second-to-none press relationships, extensive network with beauty, fashion, lifestyle and key media publications and magazines, including celebrities
A interest in professional beauty & the Pro Hair industry
Ability to strategise & drive change for the brands.
Strong presentation and communication skills – written and verbal
Passionate leader with demonstrable ability to build up, lead and develop a team
